At Velocast.net, we believe privacy is a fundamental human right. Traditional video platforms treat your data as a commodity to be harvested for advertisers or handed over to authorities without a fight. We don’t. Because we utilize decentralized storage (StorageChain) and crypto-monetization, we have no interest in your personal identity.
To facilitate your earnings and maintain platform security, we collect:
Your content is hosted via decentralized S3 protocols (StorageChain). This architecture provides “Immutable Storage,” protecting your voice from arbitrary takedowns. Note that once content is published to a decentralized network, it is naturally more permanent than traditional hosting; deleting a video from your Velocast.net dashboard removes the public link, but the underlying data resides on the distributed web but cannot be accessed by anyone.
We partner with NOWPayments for crypto gateways and VideoJS for our media player. These partners align with our pro-privacy stance, but we encourage you to review their specific protocols.
Velocast.net is built for anonymous creators. We do not maintain a paper trail of your offline life. While we support free speech and legal adult content, we do not tolerate illegal activity as defined by applicable law. If content is found to be illegal, it will be purged. Because we do not collect your real identity, we have no personal data to surrender beyond a username and a public wallet address.
As Velocast.net continues to scale toward total decentralization, this policy will evolve. Your continued use of the platform constitutes your agreement to remain “Private by Default”.
