Welcome to Velocast.net. By accessing our platform, uploading content, or utilizing our decentralized storage network, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, you are not authorized to use our services.

1. The Velocast Mission

Velocast.net provides a high-yield, decentralized video hosting environment. We prioritize creator revenue, free speech, and data permanence through S3-compatible decentralized storage.

2. Eligibility and Conduct

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.
• Compliance: You agree to use Velocast.net only for legal purposes. While we support “Uncensored” content and adult (NSFW) material, we have ZERO TOLERANCE for illegal content as defined by US and EU statutes.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any associated Web3/Metamask credentials.

3. Monetization and Payouts

• Earnings: Creators earn based on CPM rates defined by viewer tiers or through direct Pay-Per-View (PPV) sales.
• Fees: Velocast.net retains a 20% platform fee on all video sales and subscriptions to maintain infrastructure and decentralized hosting costs.
• Payout Threshold: Creators may request payouts once their wallet reaches a minimum of $50.00.
• Anti-Fraud: We utilize an aggressive anti-cheat system. Any attempt to manipulate view counts via bots, VPNs, or proxy farming will result in an immediate permanent ban and forfeiture of all earnings.

4. Content Ownership and Decentralization

• Ownership: You retain 100% ownership of the intellectual property you upload.
• Permanence: Content is hosted on a decentralized network. By publishing content, you acknowledge that while you can hide it from the Velocast.net directory, the underlying data on the decentralized web may be permanent.
• Takedowns: We comply with valid DMCA requests. Repeated copyright infringement will lead to account termination.

5. Financial Risk and Volatility

• No Warranty: Velocast.net provides its services “as-is.” We are not responsible for fluctuations in cryptocurrency valuations or network-level data loss.
• No Refunds: All digital purchases, tips, and premium subscriptions are final and non-refundable.

6. Termination of Service

Velocast.net reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in illegal activity, or attempts to harm the platform’s technical integrity.
